Why we use Laminated Double Glazed Glass for our Soundproof Windows and Doors.

Laminated Double Glazed Glass is a combination of 2 different types of glass technology combined within our soundproofing windows.

1. Laminated Glass (2pc of glass with PVB) is effective in reducing lower frequency noises

2. Double Glazed Glass is effective in reducing mid and higher frequency noises.

When used in combination, you get the best of both worlds by being able to block out all three of low, mid and high-frequency noises.

In addition, Noise Plaster also offers one of the thickest glass glazing thickness of up to 34mm for to maximize the noise reduction from a bigger air-gap of up to 19mm, unlike traditional double glazed glass of 15-18mm thick.

This double glazed laminated glass also works hand in hand together with our durable, precision engineered aluminum frames from AluK Italy which are fitted in-house to reduce the degree of error for air gaps providing the most optimal soundproofing performance.

PassiveCool™ Glass

Our PassiveCool™ glass cuts down up to 90% heat for casement windows and 80% for sliding windows. This is much more effective than traditional low-E glass or solar film which can cut down about 15-20% heat.

The PassiveCool™ glass is able to reduce high amount of heat transfer between the indoor and outdoor spaces allowing the indoor to be kept cool while allowing maximum light to be able to enter. This allow homes to enjoy natural lightning while keeping indoor temperature optimal for daily usage.

Furthermore, the PassiveCool™ glass also helps to reduce electrical bills and reduce carbon footprint.
